Police are seeking the banker son of an Arab billionaire in connection with the murder of a wealthy student whose body was found at a private block of flats in central London.

Economics student Martine Vik Magnussen, 23, was discovered partially buried under rubble in the basement of a flat rented by Farooq Abdulhak, 26, and two friends.

Flight records show he left the country immediately after the murder in the early hours of last Friday.

Detectives fear he has returned to his home country Yemen, which has no extradition treaty with Britain.

Further details emerged today of how the Norwegian student died. Police believe Miss Magnussen was strangled but were awaiting the results of further tests to establish an exact cause.

A post-mortem examination showed she had "significant injuries to her neck" and concluded her "unnatural" death was the result of "third party involvement".

Miss Magnussen was found at the apartment building in Great Portland Street on Sunday, two days after her friends reported her missing.

Four arrests follow police raid in the Hockwell Ring area

This is one of four arrests made during a police raid on Thursday afternoon in Hockwell Ring.

An intelligence-led operation involving more than a dozen officers was carried out on a property on the Luton estate.

A quantity of substances believed to be heroin and crack-cocaine, as well as stolen marriage registers, baptism registers and blank marriage certificates, were seized after Bedfordshire Police's officers broke down the door.

Operation Saba is the culmination of months of work by the Intelligence Unit.

Detective Inspector Greg Horsford, head of the force's divisional intelligence unit, said: "Drugs and acquisition crime go hand in hand.

"If we can tackle the drugs problem then we can reduce crime."

Rafter Khan, 36, from Eighth Avenue, Luton appeared at Luton Magistrates' Court on Friday afternoon charged with offering to supply a quantity of class A drugs and possessing a quantity of class A drugs with intent to supply. He did not enter any plea.

Blink and you could have missed it. Today’s Daily Telegraph carried this tiny item (so insignificant is it considered to be that it doesn’t even seem to be on the Telegraph’s website):

A vicar was left seriously injured after he was attacked in his own churchyard by three Asian youths who taunted him about his Christianity. Canon Michael Ainsworth, 57, needed hospital treatment after he was repeatedly hit in the face and body by the gang at St George-in-the-East church in Whitechapel, east London, on March 5. Police are treating the incident as a ‘faith-hate’ crime.

We know the faith that was the target of the hate. But which was the faith whose adherents were doing the hating? We all know, even though no-one is saying. Just as under Stalinism, we are now taking it for granted that we must read between the lines.

Doubtless this is yet further proof that the 'no-go areas’ about which the Bishop of Rochester recently warned, but which everyone else from Westminster to Lambeth Palace assured us were a figment of the Bishop’s imagination, don’t exist.

It so happens that Canon Ainsworth has in the past spoken up in public in defence of maintaining the integrity of Christian churches as places unique to Christian worship. In March 2006, giving evidence to the Commons Select Committee on Media, Culture and Sport, he replied to the suggestion that other religions might use churches as places for their own religious worship:

There are some issues about using Christian churches of all denominations for worship by other faiths but there is very extensive community use by other faith groups in many areas. That is something to be encouraged. If there is very clear evidence that other faith groups are actively looking to use church buildings for worship, and on the whole my experience is that they would prefer to have their own buildings, then that is something that will always be carefully and sympathetically considered but at the end of the day there must be an issue about other faith worship in a Christian church.

Was Canon Ainsworth actually targeted for attack?

In another attack on the church, families were showered with glass when a brick was thrown through a window during a service.

The Asian church member, who lives nearby, said: "I've been physically threatened and verbally abused on the steps of the church.

"On one occasion, youths shouted: 'This should not be a church, this should be a mosque, you should not be here'.

"The youths are anti-Christian. It's terrible what they have done to Canon Ainsworth.

"He was kicked and punched in the head as he lay on the ground, I believe that what was shouted was 'you f***ing priestî before they attacked him.

"He's still in hospital because he lost a lot of blood following the attack.

"It is being treated as a faith hate crime because of the language which was used. Derogatory terms relating to Christianity were used.

"Madam Speaker, allow me, first, to express my sincere thanks to you personally for having planned a debate on Islam on the very day of my birthday. I could not have wished for a nicer present! Madam Speaker, approximately 1400 years ago war was declared on us by an ideology of hate and violence which arose at the time and was proclaimed by a barbarian who called himself the Prophet Mohammed.

I am referring to Islam.

Madam Speaker, let me start with the foundation of the Islamic faith, the Koran. The Koran's core theme is about the duty of all Muslims to fight non-Muslims; an Islamic Mein Kampf, in which fight means war, jihad. The Koran is above all a book of war, a call to butcher non-Muslims (2:191, 3:141, 4:91, 5:3), to roast them (4:56, 69:30-69:32), and to cause bloodbaths amongst them (47:4). Jews are compared to monkeys and pigs (2:65, 5:60, 7:166), while people who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God must according to the Koran be fought (9:30).

Madam Speaker, the West has no problems with Jews or Christians, but it does have problems with Islam. It is still possible, even today, for Muslims to view the Koran, which they regard as valid for all time, as a licence to kill. And that is exactly what happens. The Koran is worded in such a way that its instructions are addressed to Muslims for eternity, which includes today's Muslims. This in contrast to texts in the Bible, which is formulated as a number of historical narratives, placing events in a distant past. Let us remind ourselves that it was Muslims, not Jews or Christians, who committed the catastrophic terrorist attacks in New York, Madrid and London; and that it was no coincidence that Theo van Gogh was brutally murdered by a Muslim, Mohammed Bouyeri.

Madam Speaker, I acknowledge that there are people who call themselves Muslims and who respect our laws. My party, the Freedom Party, has nothing against such people, of course. However, the Koran does have something against them. For it is stated in the Koran in Sura 2, verse 85, that those believers who do not believe in everything the Koran states will be humiliated and receive the severest punishment; which means that they will roast in Hell. In other words, people who call themselves Muslims but who do not believe, for example, in Sura 9, verse 30, which states that Jews and Christians must be fought, or, for example, in Sura 5, verse 38, which states that the hand of a thief must be cut off, such people will be humiliated and roast in Hell. Note that it is not me who is making this up. All this can be found in the Koran. The Koran also states that Muslims who believe in only part of the Koran are in fact apostates, and we know what has to happen to apostates. They have to be killed.

Madam Speaker, the Koran is a book that incites to violence. I remind the House that the distribution of such texts is unlawful according to Article 132 of our Penal Code. In addition, the Koran incites to hatred and calls for murder and mayhem. The distribution of such texts is made punishable by Article 137(e). The Koran is therefore a highly dangerous book; a book which is completely against our legal order and our democratic institutions. In this light, it is an absolute necessity that the Koran be banned for the defence and reinforcement of our civilisation and our constitutional state. I shall propose a second-reading motion to that effect.

Madam Speaker, there is no such thing as "moderate Islam".... As Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan said the other day, and I quote, "There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that's it".... Islam is in pursuit of dominance. It wishes to exact its imperialist agenda by force on a worldwide scale (8:39). This is clear from European history. Fortunately, the first Islamic invasion of Europe was stopped at Poitiers in 732; the second in Vienna in 1683. Madam Speaker, let us ensure that the third Islamic invasion, which is currently in full spate, will be stopped too in spite of its insidious nature and notwithstanding the fact that, in contrast to the 8th and 17th centuries, it has no need for an Islamic army because the scared "dhimmis" in the West, also those in Dutch politics, have left their doors wide open to Islam and Muslims.

Apart from conquest, Madam Speaker, Islam is also bent on installing a totally different form of law and order, namely Sharia law. This makes Islam, apart from a religion for hundreds of millions of Muslims also, and in particular, a political ideology (with political/constitutional/Islamic basic values, etc). Islam is an ideology without any respect for others; not for Christians, not for Jews, not for non-believers and not for apostates. Islam aims to dominate, subject, kill and wage war.

Madam Speaker, the Islamic incursion must be stopped. Islam is the Trojan Horse in Europe. If we do not stop Islamification now, Eurabia and Netherabia will just be a matter of time. One century ago, there were approximately 50 Muslims in the Netherlands. Today, there are about 1 million Muslims in this country. Where will it end? We are heading for the end of European and Dutch civilisation as we know it. Where is our Prime Minister in all this? In reply to my questions in the House he said, without batting an eyelid, that there is no question of our country being Islamified. Now, this reply constituted a historical error as soon as it was uttered. Very many Dutch citizens, Madam Speaker, experience the presence of Islam around them. And I can report that they have had enough of burkas, headscarves, the ritual slaughter of animals, so-called honour revenge, blaring minarets, female circumcision, hymen restoration operations, abuse of homosexuals, Turkish and Arabic on the buses and trains as well as on town hall leaflets, halal meat at grocery shops and department stores, Sharia exams, the Finance Minister's Sharia mortgages, and the enormous over representation of Muslims in the area of crime, including Moroccan street terrorists.

In spite of all this, Madam Speaker, there is hope. Fortunately. The majority of Dutch citizens have become fully aware of the danger, and regard Islam as a threat to our culture. My party, the Freedom Party, takes those citizens seriously and comes to their defence.

Many Dutch citizens are fed up to the back teeth and yearn for action. However, their representatives in The Hague are doing precisely nothing. They are held back by fear, political correctness or simply electoral motives. This is particularly clear in the case of PvdA, the Dutch Labour Party, which is afraid of losing Muslim voters. The Prime Minister said in Indonesia the other day that Islam does not pose any danger. Minister Donner believes that Sharia law should be capable of being introduced in the Netherlands if the majority want it. Minister Vogelaar babbles about the future Netherlands as a country with a Judeo-Christian-Islamic tradition, and that she aims to help Islam take root in Dutch society. In saying this, the Minister shows that she has obviously gone stark raving mad. She is betraying Dutch culture and insulting Dutch citizens.

Madam Speaker, my party, the Freedom Party, demands that Minister Vogelaar retract her statement. If the Minister fails to do so, the Freedom Party parliamentary group will withdraw its support for her. No Islamic tradition must ever be established in the Netherlands: not now and also not in a few centuries' time.

Madam Speaker, let me briefly touch on the government's response to the WRR [Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy] report. On page 12 of its response, the government states that Islam is not contrary to democracy or human rights. All I can say to that is that things can't get much more idiotic than this.

Madam Speaker, it is a few minutes to twelve. If we go on like this, Islam will herald the end of our Western civilisation as well as Dutch culture.

I would like to round off my first-reading contribution with a personal appeal to the Prime Minister on behalf of a great many Dutch citizens: stop the Islamification of the Netherlands!

Mr Balkenende, a historic task rests on your shoulders. Be courageous. Do what many Dutch citizens are screaming out for. Do what the country needs. Stop all immigration from Muslim countries, ban all building of new mosques, close all Islamic schools, ban burkas and the Koran. Expel all criminal Muslims from the country, including those Moroccan street terrorists that drive people mad. Accept your responsibility! Stop Islamification!

Enough is enough, Mr Balkenende. Enough is enough."

A Light in the darkness

I heard a story of a man on business whom I will never know, but I know God wanted me to hear his story.

He was head of security at a company that had invited the remaining members of a company who had been decimated by the attack on the Twin Towers to share their office space.

With his voice full of awe, he told the stories of why these people were alive and their counterparts were dead.

All the stories were just little things. .

You might know about the head of the company who got in late that day because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.

The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning.

He took the various means to get to work, but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive.

So, Now when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone... all the little things that annoy me... I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be at this very moment.

May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things.

Since the reign of Elizabeth I, meetings of the town council have started with a prayer.

But the tradition that has endured though civil war, the industrial revolution and two world wars may yet succumb to the march of political correctness.

Town councillors in Bideford, North Devon, have been told that their prayers could fall foul of the Race Relations Act.

They have also been warned that they might attract an action under the Human Rights Act.

Many councillors are outraged by the advice from the National Association of Local Councils and claim it is yet another attempt to remove Christian traditions from public life.

Prayers have been said at Bideford council meetings since the town was awarded a charter by Queen Elizabeth in 1573.

But the National Association said the practice, which is observed at many town halls, was merely an "old custom" which might upset councillors and members of the public of other religions.

"This situation is proof of a disturbing tendency to try to use spurious legal arguments under the Human Rights Act, and equality legislation, to eliminate the Christian faith from the fabric of our public life," said local Tory MP Geoffrey Cox.

The Inspiring History Britain Should Never Forget

Britain’s history of miracles made it great. The Lisbon Treaty represents a shift in faith away from God and toward Europe. By Robert Morley

No nation outside of ancient Israel has experienced more cases of divine intervention than Great Britain. Just try to find one. And not just little everyday miracles either—although there have been plenty of those too—but history-altering events. Events that have no explanation but that of divine intervention. Miracles without which the nation would have ceased to exist.

Britain is turning its back on those miracles. Its people have forgotten, and some of its politicians are preparing to sign away the sovereignty of a nation that is only independent and free today because of those many miracles.

Against the Odds

Remember the “Invincible Armada.” 1588: Only England stood in the way of Philip of Spain and his domination of Europe and the New World. The Spanish Armada was termed “invincible” for a reason: It was the most powerful military force in the world. Philip had 149 ships of the line. Britain had 80 ships total, of which 50 were volunteer vessels and some not much bigger than yachts. Even of the Queen’s 30 warships, only four were equal in tonnage to the smallest Spanish galleons.

Against these overwhelming odds, the British fleet desperately engaged the Spaniards in an attempt to prevent a landing on the English coast. During the first major engagement at Calais, with the tide and wind in its favor, the British fleet performed amazingly. Three Spanish galleons sank and three others helplessly grounded on the French coast. The victory, however, came at a cost: The bulk of the Spanish fleet remained intact and the British were out of ammunition. The Brits had to return home for reinforcements; the Channel was clear for the Spanish attack.

But the Channel crossing and attack did not come. Just six measly kilometers separated Britain from the Spanish invasion, but a work of destruction came from a force far greater than Britain’s navy could provide. Severe wind and storm suddenly materialized, scattering and wrecking the Spanish ships. By the time the retreating Spaniards made it back to Spain, only 50 ships carrying a few thousand sick and disease-stricken men remained. The Spanish threat to Britain was over, and so was Spain’s era as a global power.

Remember Quiberon Bay. 1759: The French fleet was marshaled to invade England and the British fleet again was forced to sail to its defense. The battle began and again a heavy gale erupted. Some French ships were driven onto the shoals, others were sunk and captured, and the French Navy was massively defeated. Britain was saved once more.

Remember Napoleon. “Fifteen million [Britons] must give way to 40 millions,” Napoleon uttered in frustration. He assembled a massive fleet of transports and an army of 100,000 soldiers at Boulogne. Over 100,000 troops were readied elsewhere. “Let us be masters of the Channel for six hours and we are masters of the world,” he declared. But the date of invasion was delayed by the death of the admiral chosen to lead it, postponing departure just enough so that on Oct. 21, 1805, Nelson gained his astounding naval victory at Trafalgar against staggering odds—utterly shattering Napoleon’s plans for invasion.

The Bedfordshire on Sunday has reported on my case again and has completely misrepresented me and my situation again.

I have never lived in the Middle East, I did not use my blog to announce my return to the UK and I had no intention of emigrating to the U.S, this is a concoction of the truth based on ill informed facts.

I was visiting a friend in the U.S over Christmas when I found out about the police investigating my blog and wanting to arrest me.

The article also states that I am a police informer; I helped the police with information that resulted in the arrest and imprisonment of a local Luton Pakistani Moslem heroin & crack dealer.

In my book a police informer is someone who passes information to the police to get off of a criminal charge or for payment, which I did neither. I was a concerned citizen who had information that could help the police tackle the scourge of Moslem drugs in my community so I gave it to them; this is classed as a ‘confidential contact’ and not a police informer.

If only more people would stand up and help the police tackle this threat.

The recordings of the police telephone conversations were obtained so as to prove my arrest for the asylum procedure in the U.S.

In the same newspaper there is a report of Bedfordshire police being praised for their work in going undercover on the streets of Bedford to tackle drug dealing on the streets.

I have written extensively about the trade in street drugs that is being controlled by the Pakistani Moslem community of Luton, Luton is 10 minutes down the road from Bedford, with both places coming under the jurisdiction of the county of Bedfordshire.

I have written about the Taxi link, how Pakistani Moslems are using the cover of taxis in their organized criminal drug dealing operations and in this article you will see once again the taxi link.

Bedford is home to the infamous world famous Pakistani Moslem extremist who wore the suicide vest to the demonstration in London over the Danish cartoons. When this person was arrested for his actions which should have been incitement to religious hatred, it was discovered that he had just finished a 5 year prison sentence for selling heroin & crack cocaine.

All this proof to what I am saying about what is being inflicted upon society where I live and I am being arrested for saying it – I breach community cohesion because I tell the truth and certain people do not like the truth being told because it rocks the boat.

An Internet weblogger facing charges of inciting racial hatred claims he was a police informer.

Paul Ray, who blogs as 'Lionheart', is seeking political asylum in America.

In recorded telephone conversations with Bedfordshire police officers, posted online, he claims that he does not want to face being remanded in custody because he would be face to face with Luton drug dealers whom he had helped imprison.

Previously resident in the Middle East, Mr Ray used his blog to announce his intention to return to Britain before emigrating permanently to the US.

After he did this, Bedfordshire Police demanded to interview him on February 19 and said they would arrest him on suspicion of incitement to racial hatred.

On his blog, he wrote: "Given the circumstances there is no way I am going to walk down to the police station and hand myself in to the police so that they can arrest me and possibly imprison me over my blog - Political persecution!" Mr Ray has therefore not returned to the UK and instead travelled directly to America where he plans to seek political asylum.

US laws covering the recording of telephone conversations differ from those in the UK.

In one of the conversations, recorded on February 18, Mr Ray can be heard telling Detective Sergeant Steve Facer: "I've actually helped you arrest and imprison some of the Pakistani Muslim drug dealers from Luton that I write about on my blog.

"So I've helped imprison these people and now you're going to arrest me and possibly put me in the prison system with some of these people.

Drug dealers have been jailed for up to five years following a police sting that has won national praise.

Operation Ouse, between July and October last year, involved officers from the specialist and economic crime unit and was prompted by a rise in street robberies.

Posing as thieves with a drug habit to support undercover officers were deployed around Bedford town centre at locations where information suggested stolen mobile phones could be sold on.

At one point officers were offered drugs in return for phones which led to further arrests.

Dragan Govorusa, 51, of Foster Hill Road, Bedford, was convicted on three counts of supplying class A drugs and three of handling at the Queens Head pub at Bedford Road, Kempston. He was jailed for three years and three months.

Kamaljeet Singh Randhawa, of Broadway News, the Broadway, admitted four charges of attempted handling of stolen goods and received a combined sentence of a 12-month community order, 40 hours unpaid work, 12 months' supervision and £60 costs.

Dalvinder Dhillon, 26, of Bayham Close, Bedford, and Sunil Rai, 23, of Coventry Road, Bedford, were convicted of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and each received five years. Gazzanfar Mahmood, 27 of Elstow Road, Bedford, who was a controller at Key Cars taxi company, was charged with handling stolen goods and supplying class A drugs to the under cover officer.

He was sentenced to nine months in jail.

Kramet Khan, 23, of Palgrave Road, Bedford, was charged with supplying class A drugs and was sentenced to 18 months. He was supplying Mahmood with the crack.

Following the sentencing the officers involved were commended by Judge Foster for the innovative operation which has now been used to establish a new national best practice.

The number of young British Asians being forced into arranged marriages abroad could be as high as 3,000 a year - ten times official estimates.

Fears over the scale of a practice described as 'abhorrent' by a Muslim Tory peer were revealed yesterday in a Home Office-funded study.

The research came as a select committee investigating the disappearance of children from school rolls revealed that more than 2,000 pupils were unaccounted for in 14 areas of the country.


It is thought that a proportion of these are girls who have been removed from education and forced into marriages overseas.

The Government's forced marriage unit investigates 300 "hardcore" cases a year, some involving young women and even men, but many victims are girls still young enough to be at school.

Sometimes the marriages are arranged by parents fearful that their children have become too "westernised".

However, management consultant Dr Nazia Khanum, who wrote the latest study, said: "If you follow the examples of rape and domestic violence, where only 10 per cent to 12 per cent of cases are reported, it's a reasonable assumption that it is the tip of the iceberg."

To support her case, Dr Khanum pointed out that 300 forced marriages were reported to the authorities in Luton alone each year.

She accepted that these inquiries did not necessarily relate to hardcore cases, but argued: "It still indicates the scale of the problem of forced marriages, which are unacceptable, and condemned by all religions.
