The spirit of the Martyrs

Revelation 6:9 - 11

Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs

9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Persecution of Christians at the hands of Moslems is happening throughout Great Britain, it is just under reported or reported under a different guise, and never ever reported as a religiously racially motivated hate crime.

British aid worker executed in Afghanistan for being Christian

This is London

A BRITISH woman aid worker was shot dead in Afghanistan today by Islamic extremists because she was a Christian.

Two men rode up to Gayle Williams, 34, on a motor-cycle and one opened fire at close range, hitting her seven times in the head and legs.

Ms Williams, from London, had been walking to work in an affluent suburb of the capital Kabul and was said to have died before the police reached the scene. The attack was seen by children going to school.

She had only recently arrived in the city having fled Kandahar in the south after threats of violence against foreigners and would have been varying her route to work as a precaution.

Ms Williams was a volunteer with the British-registered Christian charity Serve Afghanistan, which works with the disabled. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the shooting, saying on its website: "Our people carried out this attack. The reason that we killed her was because she was spreading Christianity."

Mike Lyth, chairman of Serve Afghanistan's board, rejected this, saying: "They will make any excuse. They probably saw there was a Christian organisation operating in Kabul and thought, 'This is how we can kill it'.

"We are Christians that is what gives us the motivation to go into a dangerous and difficult country to try to help. But she was not involved in proselytisation. We have a policy of not preaching Christianity." Mr Lyth described Ms Williams as a "lovely girl", adding: "She was the life and soul of the party, a great adventurer. She will be sorely missed, a great girl." Her mother is also believed to be in Kabul.

The militant group that claimed responsibility is called Zabiullah Mujahed. A witness told how two men on a motorbike drew alongside her. A builder, who gave his name as Daulad, said he heard seven shots and when he looked into the street he saw a woman lying on a footpath.

Ms Williams has dual British and South Africa citizenship. Mr Lyth added: "She was passionate about working for the disabled. She had done a lot of different things in her life but she really found her niche working with the Afghans." He said it was not clear whether the charity could continue to operate in the same way after the killing.

Mr Lyth added: "There were rumours that had come through the security organisation that (the Taliban) were going to target foreigners in Kandahar, so we decided that discretion was the better part of valour and pulled her back to Kabul. We definitely have a policy of no proselytisation, but act out of the love of Christ for people. She was only doing missionary work if that means living a Christian life and helping disabled people. She spoke only a little Pashtun and Farsi."

  1. Poor, innocent, helpless young lady. May her soul rest in peace.

This vile murder should show all those who still think that Islam is a religion of tolerance, love, peace, blah, blah, blah, what it really is all about.

I would just love to know what one of Britain's most [in]famous converts to Islam, the journalist Yvonne Ridley, thinks about this cowardly, murderous act in the name of Islam. Ridley became a Moslem after returning home from captivity by the Taliban in Afghanistan, where her captors had missionerized her into the Moslem religion. She had also previously been married to a Moslem Arab in England and has a daughter by him.

And I keep wondering about that 13-year old Anglo-Saxon boy who was publically converted to Islam. How could his parents permit this ? What on earth were they thinking(or NOT thinking) when they allowed this scandalous conversion of their child to take place?

Aren't they just a bit worried at the possibility he may one day be convinced (brainwashed) into becoming a homicide bomber, a shahid (martyr) for Allah (or Osama bin Laden, Ahmadinejad or Nasrallah.....) and blow himself up on the underground? In my opinion, those parents should be taken in for questioning for child abuse.

What the H*** is going on over there in my Dear Old Blighty?

  2. What pisses me off. Is christians or anyother group goes to these nations to simply help the people. THey're not there to preach their religion to anyone. Yet the muslims and taliban know this. But, being a blood thirty cult. They will use any reason to kill non-muslims. Islam is a threat to the entire world and needs to be eradicated. It's apparent that these muslims cannot be reasoned with. It's been tried to no avail. They won't be happy till the entire world is under islamic rule. Now our politicians need to realize this and stop propping up the muslims that not are all bad people. Well, they are all bad people and need to be dealt with accordingly. We've attempted everything and it isn't working. Therefore, we have no other choice but to fight them to ensure our way of life is no longer threaten. I am the last to advocate war. But, when it's the only option on the table. And everything else has been exhausted. The what other choice do we have, but to fight for what is ours.

  4. Thats because you dont understand the 'Heart & Soul' of Christianity John.

I understand your view but the only way you will ever defeat Islam is by changing Moslems idoelogy.

Christians are not perfect but wouldnt the World be a better place if everyone tried to travel the path through life the way Jesus taught by His example.

Look at the contrast between Jesus and Mohamed, and what they both teach their followers about how they should live their lives.

    Light & Darkness

This lady was just doing what Jesus taught her to do after opening the door for her to travel to one of the most dangerous places on earth to live out her Christianity in the presence of her enemies.

Many Moslems in that area will now see the truth.

She has her place in heaven now.

Just because people do not believe in the Living God and the place He has prepared for those who have accepted the truth does not mean it is not real.

One persons reality is another mans madness.

    Matthew 7:13 - 14

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because broad is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

  5. I agree with John Sobieski.
There is no point trying to help in this way.
It is seen as the personification of Western weakness in the face of their perceived "superiority" that all Islam is brainwashed to believe.
How many Muslims protested about this savage killing of a British person who was helping their poor and needy brothers in religion?
Where are the Islamic charity workers in these God-forsaken places?
    Nowhere to be seen.
They let them rot because there is no profit (!) in it for their greater purpose of triumph over the "cross" (Christians) and the "swine" (Jewish nation.)
This sacrifice of innocence has already been forgotten by the media, and now we see the other charities starting to pack up.
This is just what the Taliban wanted.

  6. Sorry I agree with John & the Anony. poster above. Play with fire and expect the ultimate sacrifice. It surely is Dhimmi to try and want to help evil demons who know nothing more than pain and death. The reason we have problems on our own doorstep is because of people like this who actually try to think they can help these horrid evil people.

Every Muslim land is tainted with war and violence, if you feel compelled to think you can go there and change thousands of years of rotton culture, you can expect retribution.

It's tragic that this woman is dead through wanting to help these two faced species. I wouldn't be surprised if the community actually took part in informing of her movements so she could be killed in the name of Allah.

To want to be buried there tells me her obessesion with Afghanistan was a little more than just 'wanting to help'

  8. This foretells the military strategy of the Taliban, so amply helped by their heroin dealing helpers in Europe, and so well supplied by their fellows in Pakistan and also funded through charitable donations from some of the biggest oil-producing Nations.
First they destabilise the territory around the only City worth calling such, Kabul.
At night the Taliban stalk these barren areas unchallenged by the Allies.
Spreading their message of brotherly love with the sword and the gun.
The frightened villagers know which side their bread is buttered.
By day, the heavily armed Allied troops negotiate the bomb-strewn tracks and try to locate the will o'the wisp shadows of the enemy.
Sometimes they locate a pocket of these bandits and drive them a few miles deeper away, sometimes an air-strike blows them away with the desert-dust.
But by night they creep back and carry on their relentless tyranny of any that dare to show support for the Allies and the "official" Afghan government.

The killing of this defenceless Woman (is this not a heinous crime to a Muslim?) is an example of how the Students of Islam (Taliban)
distort the ideas that moderate Muslims may entertain.
It is a reminder of the fate that awaits all those who allow this form of madness to run amok within their country.
A foretaste of what lies ahead at some point for Europe, was the burning of cars and property in Paris and many French towns just a year or so ago, and the now distant-seeming "Bradford Riots" of just a few years ago, in Britain.

Now the Taliban have been gaining control of the territory outside Kabul by day, they are sizing up the civilian targets of foreign nationals who go about unprotected.
These are by their nature the most vulnerable to attack.
This in turn causes the foreigners to reconsider their presence and then we will see that most will leave.
As this happens, the outer visible signs of the world outside Taliban Islam will become scarce, and the only foreigners on Afghan soil will be soldiers.
Just as in Iraq then, the Taliban can claim the Western presence as purely military aggression.
Just watch the Afghans go back to their old ways as the scenery changes, and the outlook of having Westerners amongst them becomes a liability as the Taliban then turn once again on the Afghan citizens them selves and begin killing them off for "collaboration."
It is all in the balance, but I for one cannot see the balance tipping in the Western direction.
Just as these tactics, supported by ignorant and cavalier US anti-Soviet intentions drove the Russians to leave Afghanistan in a crocodile-line of defeated and devastated ignominy, so to the high-minded and self-aggrandised European and US political puppeteers of NATO are inching the Western Forces towards possible, even likely disaster.
The nearest the West got to defeating Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, was when Bush sent in the B52's and pounded them all the way to the Pakisatan border.
Just like his father, who stopped at the point of capturing Baghdad, his son George Jnr. stopped the advance at the borders of Pakistan and allowed them to slip away into the tribal nether land, to lick their wounds and to re-group and re-arm.
They would have done well to study the accounts of those who took on the ragged tribes of that region in the previous centuries.

  10. How can we trust these two faced scum? Just another example of how Arabs & Muslims use their charm to carry out their objectives:

Another embarassement for the Dhimmi Brigade.

So, who knows any trust worthy muslims that are ever so nice and charming? Be warned!!!!!

  12. What idiot gave this dick a job in such a sensitive position?
Perhaps the costs and personel involved in harassing you, Lionheart, would be better spent checking the backgrounds and activities of all serving Police, Government employees and Service personnel with affinities and family ties to Islamic states.
    Especially places like Iran.
But that would be too much like hard work for the couldn't care less types in those jobs.
