The head of the U.S. military visited Israel for the second time in six months yesterday as tensions continued to rise over Iran's nuclear plans.
Israel refused to say what Admiral Michael Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, discussed with his opposite number in Tel Aviv except that they 'exchanged updates and joint estimates about security in the Middle East'.
But his two-day visit has fuelled speculation that Israel and the U.S. are planning a joint attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

If the US military is in Israel it means that they are finalizing plans for something.
ReplyDeleteIf you hear that joint exercises are being held, expect an attack on Iran soon, It would be a good pretext for an attack.
John Bolton has predicted November, just before next President will be sworn in.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all the Head of the US Military wasn't in Israel. Because the Head of our Military is the President of the United States. And the joints chief was there in regard to Iran's newest threat of closing off the Straits of Hormuz. Which roughly 40% of the Worlds crude oil goes through.
ReplyDeleteNow, if Iran did what the claim they might do. Then practicly most of the world would be justified in attacking Iran and ensuring the Strait of Hormuz remains open. Essentially Iran is looking for war. And performing it's best rhetoric to engage us into firing the first shot in a real conventional war. Which will not happen. Iran will realize that they will have to do some kind of physical action for us to get involved with them.
As for the nuclear facility going online (Hot) I can think of 6 differnt ways of dismantling the facility opposed to bombing it. In fact bombing the facility if futile since it's mostly under-ground. And all it will do is delay them from going online. And then you have to contended with them again. At best a bombing would give the western world approximately 3 years for them to rebuild and go online. All that's doing is buying us time instead of taking care of the problem now. You really don't want to have to re-do something a few monnths or years later. Since you will no know what the world complexities and landscape might be when it's time to re=address this issue. It's a basic military tactic to take care of when when you can.
suggest first use of nuclear EMP bomb to disable Iran's electronic infrastructure, then penetrating nuke to induce collapse of underground structures.
ReplyDeleteget the thing done for good and fast. waste no more lives in long wars.
Actually the Joint Chief of Staff is the head of the military. The President is the Commander in Chief.
ReplyDeleteAnd he wasn't just there because of the threat to close the Straits of Hormuz. This is the 2nd visit in 6 months, and Israel has no US military bases.
Iran is talking a good game, but I don't think it can do anything but talk.
Iran is all talk and would snuff out in less time than it took to declare a win in Iraq. It is time to shut up the mouthpiece in Iran, and toss Iran down on the list of priorities like the nothingness that it is. Perhaps this will give the Iranian people a chance climb out of the dark into the light.
ReplyDeleteMost Iranians would love to throw off the yoke that holds them to the ploughshare.
