Web logger seeks asylum in States

Luton on Sunday 17th February 2008

A controversial 'web logger' from Dunstable is seeking asylum in America because he faces arrest in the UK for stirring up racial hatred.

Paul Ray, who regularly writes an online diary as 'Lionheart', was due to attend Bedford's Greyfriars Police Station on February 18 as part of Bedfordshire Police's investigation into his blog.

However, he has decided to apply for political asylum in America because he risks charges which carry a maximum prison sentence of seven years.

His blog includes his opinions on the heroin trade, Islamic fundamentalism and police corruption.

Mr Ray, 31, speaking to told Luton on Sunday on the phone from South Carolina, said : "I was going to meet Bedfordshire Police on Monday. But I don't want to come back to England and get arrested.

"I had death threats in Dunstable and I wrote everything down.

"I did it because if anything happened to me then I wouldn't just be another statistic.

"I have just written my thoughts down while I have been on the run.

"I am applying for political asylum on the grounds of political persecution and human rights issues.

"All I've done is written words on a blog. That doesn't befit a prison sentence."

Mr Ray, who used to have a flat in Great Northern Road and a computer shop on Albion Street, claims he has received death threats.

He admits his reactions to this in his blog may be considered 'over the top' but maintains he has a right to write his beliefs.

He has been in South Carolina dodging arrest after receiving an email from Bedfordshire Police's DC Ian Holden on January 3.

The email said: 'The offence that I need to arrest you for is 'Stir up Racial Hatred by displaying written material' contrary to sections 18(1) and 27(3) of the Public Order Act 1986.

"You will be arrested on SUSPICION of the offence. You would only be charged following a full investigation based on all the relevant facts and CPS consent."

Mr Ray added that he will not return to Britain unless Bedfordshire Police confirm they are going to cease their investigation.

A spokeswoman for Bedfordshire Police said: "We contacted him to say that when he returns to this country we would like to see him.

"We have got a complaint about his blog. That is the whole point of this exercise.

"We have spoken to him like we would with any other crime."

I am just interested Paul, if they said they 'wished to speak to you' , or whether they actually said you would be arrested.

They say they have 'spoken to you like they would wiith any other crime - being 'spoken to' is not the same as being thresatened with arrest.

There is a significant difference.

Youi should make an official complaint about the way that this has been handled by the Bedfordshire Police.

I think these peuple are simply idiots.

I believe they have been assessed as the worst police force in England - and it would seem not without good reason.

Get some GOOD legal advice and take them to the cleaners.

Oh by the way , 'political asylum' is a good move.

I won't say why - you have obviously worked it all out for yourself.

Thank you Paul, this will go ontop of the serious complaint i already have outstanding with them.

If you look 2 - 3 sentances above what the spokeswoman has said, you will see what the investigating officer of this case stated to me, this i have in black and white in email format, with copies on this blog.

2 different statements concerning me and my case.

To be honest, if they only now want to talk to me and not arrest me with charges at the end of it then i would be on a plane tomorrow because Britain is my homeland.

But if it is a case of returning home to face arrest and charges then i will be submitting the forms for asylum.

DC Ian Holden
who is the investigating officer is back in the office tomorrow so i will have to wait and see what his position now is

  4. Ok well good luck , amd play it how you want. Lots of people will have their own motives for wanting you to do something for their own agenda.

Do what you think is best for YOURSELF.

I have learned never to let anything go, and always to follow it up - tenacity.

If you go back and the police are all 'friendly and chummy, , and say it was all a misunderstanding, go for their jugular because it will be because they know have overstepped the mark.

    Well you aren't stupid , so I don't know why I'm saying it , but ...

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

But don't let the b'strs off after what they put you through.

  5. Thanks Paul and I wont, they have forced me into a corner and then left me waiting for 6 weeks.

Can you imagine the psychological turmoil i have been going through these past 6 weeks in a foreign land, in a position of seeking asylum when all i want to do is go home and live my life.

The life they *screwed* up in the first place when i stepped forward to help them.

British justice for British people in 21st Century Britain.

Them video's of Luton, and none of them have been arrested, what is stirring up racial hatred more, them on the streets with a megaphone intimidating innocent families and children, or me sitting writting real thoughts and facts on a computer screen.

  6. Well since the 'Lyrical Terrorist' Malik practically walked away from court scot free , and the 5 muslims convicted of distributing terrorist literature have had their convictions overturned, it's fairly obvious they won't attempt to charge you - because the CPS won't prosecute.

What you have written is nothing compared to the activities of Malik, Aitaz Zafar, Awaab Iqbal,et al.

I suspect that the Bedfordshire Police are backtracking , and I wouldn't be surprised if this DC Holden has had, or will be getting , a real bollocking for creating this situation - let's face it, the Bedfordshire Police aren't exactly flavour of the week are they ?

Of course you have suffered stress and it is bound to have affected your health. I am sure that you have to see a doctor about it.

    Anyway, I'm off to bed.

I will be watching and hoping everything works out as you want.

  7. Keep up the good work, man!

Be strong - we must prevail. Here in the US the far left is trying to take Michael Savage off the radio, while they whine about habeas corpus for terrorists and the 'domestic spying' act (CIA listening to phone calls made to terror suspects from terror-sponsoring lands!)

And these pigs have the nerve to call others 'Nazis'!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Your right about those recent cases Paul, the only thing is, is that they were charged with a different crime, so although they walked out scot free from their actual terrorist intentions, i could still face charge, prosecution and a possible prison sentence because it is a completely different charge that they are persecuting me with.

British law is a weapon in the hands of our enemies.

Ive been to hell and back the past 18 months, i just want this sorted out so that i can get on with my life, and get on with writing about the biggest threat ever to the survival of Great Britain.

    The enemy within the gates.

Thanks for dropping by Joe and leaving a comment, i hope and pray that they do not succeed taking Michael Savage off of the air because i hear he is a true voice of this generation for the American public.

Those names they call us are getting weaker by the day, i am just horrified at those who profess to be on our side in this 'Long War' savaging people like me with those exact names.

The truth is there for those with intelligent minds to see.

    God bless you

Welcome to the USA. I am glad you have decided to apply for assylum. May the Lord be with you and that your request is granted speedily.

You are too valuable an asset to be sacrificed to the Moslem wolves and their pitful patsies.

I hope to meet you in person one day, Lord willing.

God bless and may the Lord Jesus give you the "peace that passes understanding" by the power of His Holy Spirit.

Mate, I had a feeling that you were in these neck of the woods. You crafty bugger I'm about 100 miles from the SC border!

But, they are still treating this as a crime.

Read their statement, it's still a threat of arrest.

"We have spoken to him like we would with any other crime."

Meaning they have told you they mean to arrest you, ie spoken, and they will carry out their deeds. Meaning they will arrest you, the media will brand you as a far right racist, possibly using the recent LGF propaganda and then they will send you to jail and possibly a psychiatric hospital. You are not mentally ill but this is what far left regimes do to political prisoners.

Mate, please do not give the bastards the satisfaction, you will be crucified, this is not a good government, they mean to silence you do not return under this current situation. They are luring you in.

  12. Hi Willow, i was just having that same conversation with someone, and as you state, they are treating me as they would with any other crime, i.e arrest and interogate me and then charge me with some pathetic 'free speech' crime.

See the damage LGF has caused, it grieves me that respected people still stand in his corner endorsing the evil that eminates from there.

I have plenty of people of different ethnic background who have already given permission for their names to be used in the media to state that there is n way i am a racist, so that wont stick, its just the hassel of having to fight and defend myself over a slur that has eminated from someone who profess to be on the side of the civilised world.

If i was any of those things that they say and state then i would accept it, everything they say is utter lies.

The police have left me in limbo making me wait 6 weeks with this hanging over my head, atleast the DC investigating is back in his office on Monday and ill know where i stand.

    God bless

  13. "We have spoken to him like we would with any other crime."

As memories of the willow tree noted, I also took notice of this line. They consider the complaint against you to be a crime - it should read 'alleged crime,' but it does not - very telling.

  14. I think it's time to ask the Beds police why they have treated you in this way, AND, why they have failed to investigate what has been shown them to be happening in Luton.

What about the taxidriver drug-mules distributing their evil wares around Dunstable? The police do know what is happening, I have been told this by a local officer.
Who is telling them to sit on their hands and ignore these crimes that see young and old British people being poisoned by the flow of Afghan heroin and Columbian cocaine?
Only a massive bust of the whole network can save the Beds police's bacon now. It will not stand up to the inquiries which will have to come eventually. The question is, why are they not acting upon information they have?
When they are investigated, they will have to have some good answers.

He is now in the USA and is seeking political asylum.

Please visit his site and decide if you would like to interview him on your radio show.

  18. Thanks Forrest.

It says it all Willow and they have the audacity to slander me by calling me a neo-Nazi, white supremacist.

Madhatter: Bedfordshire police are petrified of the Luton Moslem community, that scared of them that they have been ordered to take their shoes off before entering homes in Bury Park, and not intruding the prayer room when someones in their, they percieve me as being an easy target for them for that stat sheet that they need to bolster for their funding.

I only hope that overwhelming sentiment of public opinion will be behind me because why should we just sit back and allow the pumping of our communities with heroin, the intimidation of our youth by gangs of moslem men and large groups of racist moslem extremists causing civil disturbances terrifying children as several examples.

Community cohesion is a one way thing, and its not favoured in our direction.

Do we just continue accepting this beahaviour with the internal civil enemy getting stronger and stronger because of our weakness and cowardice.

There comes a time to stand up to the bully and that time is now.

  20. Just some advice from someone who has knowledge of the process.

First, hire an attorney who practices immigration law and specializes in asylum applications. Check to see that the attorney has a record of successful grant of asylum.

Next, document threats, then document the fact that threats against your group, e.g. white Christians in the UK don't get protection.

Next, document that the crime you are charged with is based on your speech, not other action.

Also document that others outside your group commit similar crimes but are not charged.

Note that you are in the U.S. on a Visa Waiver. You must file before your 90 day admission is up.

Apply in person with your attorney at an Asylum Office. Do not go to ICE, CBP, or regular CIS office.

I don't think I will take lectures from a cerebrally challenged up-his-own-arse-moron who doesn't even appear to know his own age.

Your comment makes no sense whatsoever - do you understand what is meant by 'spoken to' as opposed to 'interviewed'.

I think I will take '46 year old Director of own company (internet marketer )' in the same way as it would be interpreted by Anne Robinson on the Weakest Link -

O.K. - I've returned to my books on British law, - and in theory, this is what you are with-in your rights to do....

Contact a Solicitor in the Luton and Dunstable area.

Advise them as to the contents of the E-Mail of which you were sent by D.C. Ian Holden.

Download the E-Mail to them on-line if need be.

Appoint a Brief to be your legal representitive in this matter.

As soon as you have your own legal council in place, they will be able to contact Ian Holden on your behalf, and as such, obtain both the nature of the allegations, as well as, whom has made them.

In this senario, there is nothing, (that I can find anyway) stopping you, from talking to Ian Holden down the other end of the phone - live from the U.S. of A.

    Just a legal thought anyway!!!.

Good luck, with what-ever you choose to do.

we already found that info on geert, but you forgot to add that he claims to be from the UK but is in fact from Belgium and is a pro EU propagandist and supporter of a EU i.d. card.

I googled his info, you can too, it's fun and made me laugh when he states that he is really from Belgium but pretends to be British.

    http://maarten.typepad.com/brusselsblog/2005/02/national_id_car.html

    "Hello,

I'm a Belgian citizen living in the UK. Here the debate on the first introduction of ID cards and a national register, is raging in full force. I've read the proposed legislation (the "ID cards bill") and don't really agree with it either.

There are many questionable points, in particular the inclusion of biometric data such as fingerprint and iriscopy, to which I would also firmly object.

A question I've been asked here is: do we in Belgium have any plans to include such data on future versions of the e-ID card?

An argument that is used against ID cards here is "function creep": the notion that more and more data will be introduced, making ID cards in effect more of an intrusion into personal life and privacy of the individual.

  30. Lionheart you do this & show the government of this now dimmi country up just for what they all are. A load of dimmi foot & ass kissing muslim servants. Doing what you are will show this government up no end, proving that this is not as they claim a country of free speech, neither is it a country that stands for the truth. I hope that in doing what you are, the US TV screens will be buzzing from state to state. Unless the government of this country changes its ways where islam & muslims are concerned, we are finished. We need to get this pathetic government out of power, I do not care who gets in apart from they deal with this whole nasty mess & does so very very quickly.

Joanne, thank you for your words in the other article. Yes I do try to be a God fearing individual & yes as you say I do know why we in this country are going through what we now are. I would be surprised however if many more do truly know why.

I some time ago was given a DVD to watch on that very subject, I was absolutely astounded when I did watch this DVD. I could not believe what I was watching & what was done by this country to the Jews & to Israel. I would advise anyone to watch this DVD if they got the chance, it will open peoples eyes. The name of this DVD is The Forsaken Promise, it is in 4 sections & shows what happened to the Jews & Israel & what this Country did to them, I was close to tears when watching this. If anyone gets the chance please see this DVD & after watching this DVD you will see why we are now in the position we now are & why we lost the Empire so fast.

  31. This is a disgaceful action on the part of Bedfordshire police. The spokeswoman said: "We have got a complaint about his blog. That is the whole point of this exercise. We have spoken to him like we would with any other crime."

This woman should be sacked. A complaint on a polemical source of written material is only a complaint, and ONLY when such a case has been PROVEN in a court of law can she state that what is written is a "crime" - it can only be an "alleged crime" or a "possible" crime.

This disgraceful person obviously does not believe in the maxim "Innocent until proved guilty". The Bedfordshire police, like West Midlands Constabulary did re the Undercover Mosques documentary, have overstepped their role. Only the Crown Prosecution Service can decide if a person shall be prosecuted, and a prosecution is only completed when a trial has taken place.

If there is objectionable content in the police's opinion, an arrest order is unnecessary. Contents of the blag are visible to all and sundry, and from those, a case can be made to the CPS.

It is my strong belief that there is no offence, and this is harrassment by a force which prefers to kowtow to political correctness rather than to impartially uphold the fairness of the law.

Bedfordshire police, after all, in 2005 took the ridiculous step of ordering officers to remove shoes before embarking on Islamist terror raids in Muslim homes.

Here, the police have judged him guilty without trial, and I advise Lion Heart to remain in the United States. To order his arrest, rather than asking him to answer certain questions, is a blatant disregard for legal procedure, and an abuse of Lion Heart's human rights.

Bedfordshire police should stick to chasing real criminals, rather than hounding someone for expressing his opinion, no matter how "objectionable" they may perceive such opinions to be.

  33. The title says it all.

People say the US have made a mess of Iraq. The richest, most powerful country in the world has created chaos in a poor country. Regime change is easy, the US has done it before, and without invading. The US is building massive military bases in Iraq from which to control the whole region. The chaos was necessary for their continued presence, and their continued presence in order to justify the bases. Anyone remember the SAS troops in Arab gear arrested for shooting Iraqi police?

By focusing on Islam in the West you are missing the big picture. Islam will be dismantled more completely than you can imagine, when the time is right - this is why the 'powers' aren't worried.

Again, I urge you to check out the Bilderberg plan for global government.

so if it is, it is merely being assisted by its chief western ally the usa alias: mystery babylon. the plan is to encircle and destroy israel.
